The chairman, CEO MAKON GROUP and an aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde has promised to reduce the level of suffering infused on people by the current administration in the state.
He stated this when submitting his form of interest to contest for the governorship primary in the parties primary elections and general elections in 2019 at the parties national secretariat in Abuja.
In a statement released by the head Seyi Makinde campaign organization Prince Dotun Oyelade Engr. Abiodun Makinde called for a level -playing field for all aspirants and said if he was privileged to be elected as the party’s candidate he would ensure every political tendency was accommodated and given their recognition.
He promised that as a private citizen, he had engaged in poverty alleviation programme for over 20 years, adding that if elected, he would deploy government resources to lift the masses from current poverty.
Responding the national organizing secretary of the party Austin Akobundu, admonished Seyi Makinde to conduct himself within the ‘re-branded and reformed PDP and make the party proud.
However, it was a huge successful outing for the aspirant as his supporters and party faithfuls accompanied him to Abuja for the submission showing his strength within the party and the state in general.
